Ophidian Lair

Welcome to another edition of Deathrobes and Vet Hunts where tonight we visit the exquisite home of everyone’s favorite snake-things, the Ophidian Lair. Upon arriving, we found the place to be practically empty except for the two Ophidians who warmly greeted us as we rudely gated inside their home. After successfully slaughtering them we made ourselves quite comfortable, setting up choke points in two locations and leaving our manners behind, we sent out one brave soul to invite the Ophidians back into their own home where we patiently waited to vanquish them.

Here we see that the luring attempt was a success and all the Ophidians…the Ophidian Apprentice Mage, the Ophidian Avenger, the Ophidian Enforcer, the Ophidian Justicar, the Ophidian Knight, the Ophidian Matriarch, the Ophidian Shaman, the Ophidian Warrior, the Ophidian Zealot…were all in attendance.

Athena: That’s a LOT of hallys!
DeDe: damm

Some became giddy with excitement…

Athena: AHAHAHA

While other’s felt left out…

En Sabah Nur: Party over There!

Rat and Llama lances stare blankly at their pathetic pile of Ophidian corpses while Zombie and Dragon lances collect the loot from theirs.

Kale: What a gyp!

So we decided to move up to the next set of choke points in an attempt to liven things up a bit and give both groups a chance to have fun…

It worked…

Kayla Lynn: Naked luring is the best.

Athena: X RATED!

Even the Ophidians were having fun…

an ophidian knight-errant: Oof! That hurt!
an ophidian justicar: Must… not die…

We train our guild members not to be overly optimistic and to often question themselves…

En Sabah Nur: I think I’m hitting something.

Kale: ooo!

En Sabah Nur: Don’t tell.
Kale: Sabah moved off his square!

It’s all fun and games until someone brings home a deathrobe….or two…

Bremenwulf: Hmm

This is never a good sign…

Cenn Curaic: Anyone find a dead person???
En Sabah Nur: The body is under there.
Strider: Anyone got a shovel?

And then there are the odd ones who take the simple pleasure in stuff like…
